Job Responsibilities
1. Working with Chinese and foreign teams to uphold the mission and spirit of the school and to support the growth and development of each student.
2. Be familiar with subject matter expertise.
3. To undertake the teaching of assigned courses and carefully complete the complete teaching process of lesson preparation, classes, assignments, tutorials and evaluations as required.
4. Be responsible for evaluating the classroom performance of students in attendance and suggesting ways to help them grow.
5. Participate in subject teaching and research activities and training activities.
6. Stimulating students’ interest in learning, developing good study habits and mastering efficient learning methods.
7. Completing other teaching support work as arranged by the school.
8. Supporting marketing and recruitment activities.
9. Demonstrate a more diverse understanding of the curriculum and be subject to the schedule of the curriculum department and school director, the management needs of the school, and cross-departmental collaboration.
Requirements
1. At least 3 years of teaching experience in grades 1-5 and a proven track record of student learning
2. Profound commitment to ensuring and nurturing children’s wellbeing
3. Highly effective collaborator, eager to listen deeply, contribute to a team and achieve goals together
4. Dedication to learning, reflecting and developing the craft of teaching
5. Very resourceful and adaptive, eager to embrace constant change, growth and learning
6. Bachelor’s degree; graduate degree in early childhood education or related field preferred
7. Native-level proficiency in English
